putting in insulation

I had the pleasure of putting up 100mm xtratherm in the rafters of my house yesterday. Messy work, still coughing up particles... Over the weekend (before Ryder cup matches) I'll be attacking the peak of the roof (2x150mm fibreglass) and hopefully the ceilings of the ground floor (150mm fibreglass).

My basic question is - will I need something to hold the insulation up??? The xtratherm was cut fairly accuratley and thus sits in pretty snugly and stays put. The fibreglass, I'm guessing, will not be as easy to keep in place. Do I need to get some staple thing to tack it up or is there a mesh/cloth that I tap up with a nail to hold the fibreglass in???

Will also be putting 100mm rockwoll in the internal walls in the 1st floor. Is there anything I need to know for that job??

    Thanks....
