Ankle pain

I was away for the weekend and did a 12 mile walk on the Saturday. It was a spur of the moment thing and the shoes i was wearing - walking sandals - weren't the best. On Sunday a stroll round the park left me in agony but was flying back Sunday night so had no option but to continue walking and putting weight on them. Both are still painful, rest is helping but any degree of walking is causing pain again. I'm doing a boxercise class that i'm really enjoying and was considering going and just doing the punches and floor work. Am i only asking for trouble though and by having weight on them for an hour causing more damage?

Also would a physio session be of any benefit?
