Why is it that Americans are such a pain?

On forums they can't play fair and delete posts and lock threads when you defeat their arguments. In life they act too entitled. In life, they try and push you around and have an inflated view of themselves.

I'm fed up of being PC as regards anti-Americaniism. I just want to know how to deal with them.

More generally, how can I stop people who exploit my good nature or subtly take the upper hand too much? I need to stop tolerating BS and set the agenda myself somehow.

 Are you that fella from before who had an obsession with Americans being "superior" and stuff?

Buddy, you need to chill -its taking you over!

It's just that nowadays Britian isn't that British. I am dealing with Americans socially a lot. Guess I was naive enough to think that my innate traits speak for themselves but Americans just act like their superior. Like I said before, it just gets to me how they seem to punch above their weight.

Dont know if this is really a PI but.....
Americans get a lot of bad press re foreign policy, human rights etc and the Political Correctness Police seem to tolerate and even encourage it sometimes. What would the reaction be though if you substituted the word 'Nigerians' for 'Americans' in your post?
You cant label a whole nation like that.
In relation to your question in the last paragraph - you may need to say 'NO' more often

Well dont "deal with them socially" any more if they are wrecking your head so much!!!

American culture (to generalise) prizes that jock type of get aheadness far more than the rest of the world.

Your more subtle qualities wont be valued there in mainstream society!

Dont fret about it, it doesnt matter!!!

No its not a PI: excepting that you should look as to why you have made such generalisations
