8-cell battery would give it pretty good battery life I'd imagine on the power saving settings

High performance will prolly run ~2 hours or so.

Got the 9-cell in my dell laptop and altho I don't use it on battery that much, when I do it's well impressive.

it's centrino, so with switched off wireless you can expect even 3hrs on battery ;P

I have a 12 cell that gets ~3 hours on high performance and wireless gaming. but that card youre looking at is probably a bit more hungry. Basically dont do too much gaming off the AC - why would you need to anyway right.
