Saw an ad there on TG4 for some photography related show starting on Sept 25th. Couldn't make out exactly what it's going to be about though.

Aye, the programme is actually 'I bhFocas', and it is subtitled in English.

I was the photographic consultant for the programme, be interested to hear what people thought of it?

First episode just finished, subsequent ones air every Thursday at 8pm on TG4.

    Cheers,
    Peter

I caught the last ten minutes. There wasn't much discussion on actual photography in the bit I saw, but it's nice to see anything photography related on telly, especially Irish telly.

I'd like to shoot Enda Kenny.

Just happened to flick this on the other night, really nice and captivating programme (though my opinion might be coloured by the fact that Aoibhinn is absolutley gorgeous in every way!)

Fairly basic on any technical points, but well worth a watch. Beats corrie or whatever else is on around that time.

some nice takes starting to build there Peter. Not only did i miss the first episode but found myself stuck on a car journey for the repeat. Missed Thursdays too :( BUT.... I'm at home Sunday night so i'll be tuning in @ 7:30 TG4 to catch it.

Does anyone know location of the shell of the grand house shown in Peters link - aoibhinn ni shuilleabhain's episode 2??

So - got to see it tonight. I think it is probably a nice mix of a programme - nothing too heavy but a bit of human interest in the personality involved in the show, the area being visited, and a little about photography along the way. I guess if you're anyway experienced you won't be getting a lot out of it in terms of photography knowledge but then again the mix is quite enjoyable. Would i watch again? Probably - it sure beats reality tv that is on the opposing chanels!

Ah I missed it tonight, forgot it was on.
That's for sure ancatdubh, there's rarely anything on tv worth watching.
