I had been looking at flights with Aer Lingus to Orlando two days ago and prices have gone up around 100 euro since then. Should i book now in case they get any dearer or wait another while and see if they come down

It's a really difficult one, I am wondering the same thing for August 09, book the first day they are available or wait and see. I think they way the price of flights are going, I would book now, flights seem to be getting more expensive by the minute. Do you mind me asking how much you are being charged?

See you're at the mercy of Aer Lingo because noone else flies this route direct, personally I don't mind going with Delta or someone else with a stopover because it increases your options and means you can shop around.

Obviously when there's a direct route it's probably worth just paying the extra to get there in one.

That is seriously expensive, for the same flights this year, they were charging about €700 pp. I don't understand the level of the increase, I know they hedged and bought oil when it was high, but surely that doesn't account for a rise of €350 pp?

Have you priced from Shannon with US Airways, Continental and Delta? As a previous poster said, they aren't direct routes, but I personally don't mind a stopover if it would save me a couple of hundred euro.
