with effect from last friday all upgrades are gone.

    see http://forums.o2online.ie/forums/showpost.php?p=16903&postcount=172

according to the new upgrade rules you must spend at least €3'500(THREETOUSEND FIVEHOUNDRED!!!) within either 6 or 12 month to be elegible for an upgrade within either 6 or 12 month. O2 apparently recons that they will loose a lot of billpay customers. and apparently they don't care.

hint: if your contract is up move to prepay, then sign a new contract with moving your number back to billpay and get a subsidised new handset ;) or get a new contract with Vodafone or Meteor :D
