We all got warned in work this week about our internet usage so I can't be using that anymore. My problem is I just don't get a lot of work. Maybe I spend 2-3 hours of my 7 hour day working. Is there any type of Ebook or something I could download to read throughout the day so I wouldn't actually be on the internet? Any idea's at all? Otherwise I'll find myself looking for another job as there's nothing worse than sitting looking at a blank screen for hours.

    What?

Irish radio is fúcking shíte, the poor bastard would end up throwing out the window.

No, radio isn't an option here, I'm afraid.

You know, I knew from your first post in this thread that you'd be the kind of person who finds that imbecile funny.

I for one support this idea, hours if mindless mindless entertainment, and if you buy a roll of it lay it out on the floor, and stomp in it!

Put some laxatives in one of your co-worker's coffee. During the hours that they spend on the toilet, you can use their internet. After a few days of bog-trotting they'll be too weak to fight back when they get the sack.

After picking them off one after the other, you will eventually become the boss and will be able to use the internet 24/7.

Life saver. I generally don't read books as I usually spend my spare time watching TV, on internet or in the pub. :) But since I've nothing better to do I'm really enjoying that book so far. I had more work than usuall today since I was out on Tuesday but I won't be dreading work tomorrow now.

    Have you workmates near you?

Get them to pick an actor/actress, then you pick one and you have to link the two by going through movies until you link one to the other through other actors/actresses.

    6 degrees of separation like.

Couple of rounds of soggy biscuit should provide 'relief' from boredom.
See if HR will buy the digestives, they can probably use the budget for team building events.
