Thanks guys... Tomorrow should be good!

We got a lot of lovely spot prizes from the local shops including €300 vouchers from Marks & Spencers, a year's supply of coffee from Starbucks worth €84, Champagne Gift Set and many more... The 'wooden spoon' won't go home empty handed, nor will the best hand of the tournament! The rest we'll raffle off...

Derek - I think the Irish Deaf Poker crew will be out-numbered at this one... I've far more hearing players than deaf coming! :D

See you all there tomorrow!!! ;)

The day went well although we had a lower turnout than expected, with some players unable to attend at last minute due to other commitments... Please don't worry - the tournament went very smoothly and all the players enjoyed themselves! :)

The Wooden Spoon spot prize went to Donal 'The Value' Desmond and Paula D won a bottle of vodka (compliments of Molloy's Pub) for the best hand of the night with her quad Kings!

4 places were paid out - Congratulations to all!:
    1st Queen Jules
    2nd Susie Woosie
    3rd Geraldine Figgs
    4th Keenan "Keeno" Byrne

To Ciaran (Get In There) and his IDP crew for coming early to teach the basics to a few non-poker players! He did a fine job! One of his 'students' managed to outlast him and come 3rd! :D:D:D

To our main sponsors: ESB IE, Meagher Moynihan, Siemens and Marks & Spencers Tallaght…

To all the local businesses who sent in a spot prize for the raffle...

To JP & Christine! They were wonderful and their kind generosity in agreeing to host this event for charity was really appreciated...

To all the players who came along...

Thank you ALL so much for your support!

I received a few PM's from some of ye unable to attend and offering to donate directly to the charity instead - you know who you are! ;) Thank you! I really, really, appreciate this! I will post an update on how much we have raised for the DeafHear Sky Dive Challenge later on this week as we are waiting for more donations to come in.
