I've been wondering this with a while but didn't really have anywhere appropriate to ask.

Can anyone tell me the name of the hat that Bart wears at the Start of Blazing Saddles when he's working on the rail line ?

For those who haven't seen the film its the stereotypical sort of hat that the black slaves used to wear in old westerns and so on.

I cant find a picture to illustrate at all.
