gap trapping food

I had had one of my molars extracted (lower left rear) a couple of years ago, wisdom teeth already extracted.
I now find that the upper rifgt rear molar has "drifted" out a bit as it had no partner to press against.

The problem is that as this tooth had drifted out of position, there is a gap between it and the molar in front of it. The gap is like an inverted "V" and catches food, I'm forever having to use toothpicks to clear the space.

Is there anything I can use to block the gap, of any other suggestions.

I would suggest you use 'interdental brushes'. I got them in the chemist recently and use them each time I brush teeth. I think they are called 'TeePee'. It is well worth it as the food trapped between the teeth will rot the tooth and give shocking breath.
