Tickets for the match in Edinburgh go on sale to season ticket holders tomorrow at 10 am.

6 of us are heading over for the weekend in October and i was wondering if we should bother getting tickets in advance or will there be plenty of availability on the day?

I know Murryfield holds 65k or more but i doubt they will be opening every stand........does anyone have any advice? (Im looking at you with the frostbite who was there last December!:D)

We bought tickets on the Edinburgh website last year instead of giving money to Ticketmaster - it also worked out cheaper that way. The seats aren't resrved so you can sit wherever you want. You can also turn up on the day and buy a ticket.

I have never EVER been so cold at a match as I was that day. It was so cold I gave up drinking beer at half time and got a cup of tea to warm myself up. I've never ever had to do that before.

Oh and I've headed over every season for the last 3 years and there has never been any need to buy a ticket beforehand.

Just going on last years fixture there were a lot of empty seats and i'd say you'll get a ticket no probs!

There will be no problem getting the tickets for this game, there will only be one stand open for the game. If you register on the scottish rugby website you can buy tickets direct. I am getting tickets for this game, the Glasgow v Leinster game and the Glasgow v Tolouse game.
