You could use the hip to waist ratio if you want some sort of figure to gauge yourself by, it is considered by many to be better than BMI. There are also calculators for BF% online where you measure various parts, I am not sure which is the best though.

I came out at 14.1% on that which sounds about right. A lot better than those handheld/standon resistance meters anyway!

This doesn't seem to be working very well for me, it asked to measure all my skinny parts.
I'm going to have to invest in a calipers.

There are other calculators you can find online, the hip to waist is said to be pretty good, the only problem is different sites say to measure at different places, i.e. some say around the belly button, others say the widest area.

As for ones saying to measure a few places, probably the more the better, like caliper readings.

Women should have a "ideal" BF% a good bit higher than men too.

I have small hips and no waist so I'll be staying away from that ratio. :D
    Thanks anyway.
