Was thinking about heading down to that game until I realised we were playing Longford the same night. Don't know which was worse, the light or being bitten by midgets throughout the game.

I was holding the monopod with my left hand.
It's covered in bites now & they swelled up badly yesterday.
Also have 2 on my face.
This is a first for me, as I never get a reaction to bites.

By the way, I think the last shot is further evidence that the 300mm f/2.8 is a great portrait lens!
