    Once again, very tough conditions.
The likes of which you'd expect in November.
    Here's a few examples...

FAI Ford Cup 2008 1/4 Final
Cork City FC 1-1 Derry City FC

Great shots Peadar, 1 and 2 are fantastic and 3 and 4 really newsworthy. Any in the papers?

A bit more contrast in 2 will make him pop more

Was thinking about heading down to that game until I realised we were playing Longford the same night. Don't know which was worse, the light or being bitten by midgets throughout the game.

    Thanks for the comments, guys.

I was holding the monopod with my left hand.
It's covered in bites now & they swelled up badly yesterday.
Also have 2 on my face.
This is a first for me, as I never get a reaction to bites. :(

    Correct name is 'midge'

Peadar, excellent shots as always. Great expression captured.

By the way, I think the last shot is further evidence that the 300mm f/2.8 is a great portrait lens! :D

I would agree too Peadar, I have some really nice presentations shots from the RDS with the 300 on.
