Got it on friday and have listened to it a few times. Feels a bit short... could maybe have done with two or three more tracks... good album, fair bit different to the damien rice stuff shes done, in one way i guess thats good but would have liked one or two more edgy songs... but maybe the songs will grow on me a bit more... do hope the album does well for her

Only listened to it once, but sounds quite nice. No immediate standout tracks, and I doubt it will touch other female vocalist albums from this year like the Marling or Gemma Hayes releases, but well worth a look.

    really like the album.

on a side note, she's actually such a nice person, really down to earth and just genuinely loves music - long story short, ended up at houseparty some time ago with me, guitar and lisa singing everything from mundy to nina somone.

She's also unbelievable live (if not actually better!).

Very cool, bought the album at lunch today, very chilled out. Loved her from her Damo Rice days, love the new album.

Just listened to it for the first time. It sounds pretty much as I expected it to, which is not necessarily a criticism. Its lovely but I would have liked to have been surprised a bit.

As an aside, I wouldn't really agree about it being too short. 40-45 minutes is the optimum length for an album in my opinion. I guess it goes back to the days of vinyl and only 45 minutes of music fitting onto an LP. So, all the classic albums of the 60s and 70s were of that length. Also, I have a short concentration span and find it hard to listen to a 60-70 minute album without my attention wavering!
