I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum, but I thought this ad was sort of disturbing. Just wondering what other people think.

    Why?

I don't find it disturbing at all.Are you from the biblebelt?

Lol, no. It just seems wrong to sexualize two teenagers to sell jeans. Yeah I feel like a Puritan.

    That's a nice pair of jeans :)

Nah, I wouldn't consider it disturbing but, maybe odd.

They probably look a little young but think its funny. Besides so many ads now a days that ambiguously promote sex and insinuate far rauncher then that. EG Nescafe

Haven't seen the NesCafe commercials. And I agree there are sexier commercials, but at least they depict adults. It would have been better if it weren't for the close-up shots of them both unzipping their pants and such. Who is that supposed to appeal to?

I find all advertising disturbing to some degree. Yes they are sexualising teens but haven't clothes companies been doing that for decades now?

I guess if you consider the fact that most catalog models are teenagers trolloped up to the point that they look menopausal, they do. But this was so much more blatant. It's the same controversy that pops up whenever someone like Britney Spears becomes famous. So it's nothing new, but it still made me sad.

Have you seen the one about the watch pocket and the condoms?

Lol, no, but it sounds like a bad joke.

I think this is it (I didn't watch it all)

That was so dumb! That's an urban legend over here, pretty well-known, too. They could have been a bit more original at least.
