Vista German -> Vista English

Right, so I custom built a PC on hardwareversand.de and stupidly selected the german version of vista instead of english =(

So question is...will I have to reformat the pc entirely, or if I buy an english version of vista, can I use it as a recovery disk without having to format?
Not even entirely sure HOW to format in vista =/

And then the obvious question is....where's the best shop to buy vista home premium in Dublin/Ireland? =S

microsoft only license one language for an os , a separate language needs a separate license or an upgrade

you could try the german site first as they probably get a lot of that and may have a solution

IIRC if you upgrade to ultimate from an oem version then the ultimate becomes an oem and is also bound to the machine
