1)I have been watching a lot of make up tutorials on youtube recently and am loving the looks using false lashes, what brands do you guys recommend?
'Red Cherry lashes' seem to be popular online but are they available over here anywhere?

Also which glue do you guys recommend?
I have heard great things about 'duo' but is this available here?
Edit: Just did a bit of research there and it is apparently available in make up forever for €16 and at any mac counter aswell!

    2) Thoughts on the new cult of cherry collection in mac?
I loveee the lipstick colours but feel they would be too dark on me :D

I have false lashes from MAC, make-up Forever, Screenface and cheapo individual lashes I got in a chemist in the states. I don't think a certain brand of lashes makes a difference. I think it's more the glue and how you use it.

Duo Adhesive is great and it's opthamologist tested. Meaning it's safe to use around the eyes and okay for sensitive skin. It's great as it comes in clear so you can't see it once it dries.

Best way of applying it is putting a thin layer of glue on your hand, wave your had about or blow on it to help make the glue set slightly (so it goes tacky). This will help the lashes stick and not slide all over the place with the glue.

As for the new collection, I just had a look. I prefer still shots of the collection rather than the mini film that's on the site! Darks colours - you'd be surprised by how great dark colours can look. Just need to get the right tone for your colouring. And once you keep your eyes and blush subtle is can look really classy and sophisticated.
