Don't be fooled by her look's, you don't need a gun with this one, she takes red's down by the neck.

sika does your teckel work foxes. i've seen videos of teckels working to ground on foxes and badgers in sweden(its legal there). they were as game as a terrier but with the nose of a hound, is yours a dog or bitch?

hes a dog and he would hunt all day for you ive only put him on a couple of deer as most of the time they go straight down but the few times they havent you just take him to the last place you saw the deer and in a few minutes deer found. very little training was needed
dont think ill work him on foxes tho dont want to ruin the deer hunter inside him. i also have a lab that will find the deer come back to you and take you back to it compaired the the teckel which you have to keep on a lead

i'd say he'd be a right little dog to hunt thick cover. did you get him here from working lines? i didnt think anyone hear bred working teckles.

Just keep an eye on his spine and hips as they get older. It is the first thing to go,[teckel lahmung] especially with hunting dogs. The long spine and short legs isnt exactly the best design for off road terrain:(..We lost a good few in Germany from that condition.Reason we changed to German Terriers.

I have a GWP also but Kate can do anything required of a gundog, each have their strong suites.
