I couldn't see a thread for this so sorry if there is one.

Anyways the demo is up now on the US store!

I've played it on both ps3 and 360 and I can't get over how much bright and crisper the graphics are on the 360, on the default camera the players are covered in jaggies on the ps3, why can't EA develop for the ps3 properly?

And before anyone says it, I'm using HDMI on the ps3 and VGA on the 360, so the ps3 should look better in theory if both versions were identical.

Anyone try the PC version yet? Curious to see if it's pretty much a direct conversion...

Dunno what your talking about. I downloaded it last night and played it for a hr or so. The presentation is the best ever in a football game.
The graphics all round are superb and not a jaggie in sight. Its runs in 1080p also.
PES 09 has some tough competition on its hands.

1080p my arse, it's upscaled to 1080p, like most games. Have you played both versions of it? The 360 version looks much better.

Does the PS3 upscale games to 1080p? First I have heard of it.

Very good demo. Pro Evo will have to do something fantastic to get money from me this year. It is amazing what one ****ed up release can do to a franchises reputation.

Yeah the gap between the two games is gonna be even wider this year and this kind of mealy mouthed speak doesn't fill me with confidence.

The other day PES team leader, Jon Murphy said:

Do you need to connect the PS3 to the internet to dowload or can you dowload using laptop?

Is there any other way to transfer the file?

your ps3 will have to be connected to internet to download demos.

maybe there are some ps3 magazines with demo discs, i don't know.

Im a big pro evo player for years, played fifa last nite and was pretty impressed... the 'pro' camera angle is a great addition... running towards the opposition goal the camera zooms in and you can hear your steps and shorts, aswell as breathing... really adds to the experience!

Can only pray konami pull the finger out...pray!
