    Kingshankly,

I've played there once and to be honest I can't give you many specifics but I really enjoyed it. It's a long course but is pretty open so it's a course for having a rip with the driver.
When I played it the rough was not very punishing and as a newish course the fairway-side trees are small/sparse and don't punish.
Nice par 3 18th to finish, pretty much all carry over water.
Greens were fantastic when I was there and this was in the middle of our monsoon season.
All and all it's an enjoyable place to play golf and will be an excellent course over time IMO.

    Hi,
It's a seriously long track, most fairways a wide open (slice).
Greens are top notch, really fast greens with loads of levels. very little danger i.e trees, water etc.

Kingshankly - any thoughts on this after playing it? I'm heading there for a game this weekend so would be interested in any tips you might have!

Very good course. A little bit open due to it only being a few years old. I'd imagine that the rough is a little more lush now given the recent growth. Greens were only, I'd say, 75% of what they could be when myself and Hobart played there a month ago. They had just been aerated and sanded in the weeks previous so I'd expect that they are getting closer to top quality now.

Lots of Doglegs so if you can place your tee shots accordingly then you will be in a better position for your approach. Also as mentioned before its pretty long so theres plenty of scope for using the driver.

Thouroghly enjoyed the course and I'm sure you'll have a ball. Well worth taking in a game! Enjoy!

I played it about a month ago and i have to say the par 3s are absolutly fantastic on this course. In agreeance with previous comments the greens are very good but i feel what lets this course down a little is the fact that a lot of the par 4's are the same as each other, or so it seems. You get the impression that you've played the same par 4 only a few holes ago on a lot of them. The course is long also and it gets a bit monotonous hitting a long iron approach most of the time. That said the weather wasnt great when i played and there was no run on the ball. Prob a bit better now. Its a pretty wide open course so you are given a chance even if you miss the fairway. Look out for the 17th. Best hole on the course in my opinion. All in all a decent track. Enjoy.

Played the course there on Sunday and have to agree, stunning hole. I actually hooked my tee shot and it hit off the roof of the little house on the corner and bounced back into play. Played a big sweeping draw to the front edge with my second and got up and down for birdie. :D They don't tell you to play the hole that way in the strokesaver!!

Pity it isn't the finishing hole actually. The 18th is a nice hole, but a poor way to finish i felt. Or maybe that's just because i took a 5 on it (and i didn't find water once!):D

Very nice course, which played very tricky in the wind. Only downside was that the greens had been heavily sanded a week or so earlier and with no rain last week, putting was a nightmare.

Looking forward to getting back in the summer when the place is in tip top shape.
