Guys does anyone know of an extremely glittery gold eyeshadow? I'm dressing up as Foxxy Cleopatra for the college Freshers Ball. It should look something like this:

I've had a quick scope around the net but all I can find are either eyeshadows which aren't glittery enough, or loose glitter and God knows how that would stay on. Also found these glitter glue tubes but they look like they wouldn't be great.

MAC makes a gold pigment, but I believe it was limited edition. Ben Nye also makes some.

hi, urbay decay do a good selection of glitter eyeshadows and eyeliners in gel form. I've bought a selection of this sort of make up from them and to date, have always been impressed. They stock it in House of Fraser and some Boots stores. Good Luck with your costume!

Just use some gold glitter. Put a gold cream eyeshadow (MAC and Bobbi Brown do them) or gel liner on your lids and then press the gold glitter over it.

Urban Decay do some really bright, glittery golds that stay on ages. Try Half Baked, Blunt or Eldorado. Their gold eyeliners are also quite good, and they do these eyeshadow gel-type things that come in tubes, called "Heavy Metal", and the goldy one could be just what you're looking for!

What about Barry M? I haven't tried them personally but I think they're good.

Oooh, yes go for the Urban Decay glitter actually, I forgot about them. Get a gold glitter liner and just layer it over your eye.

Yeah Barry M have some great glitterly eyeshadows. I used to by them in Ad Hoc in Temple Bar. I'm not sure if they still sell them there.

You'll need a base to help hold the eyeshadow on, as it's more glitter than eyeshadow. I used to use Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream to hold it on. But then I discovered eye primers. Much better hold!!
