    hi all new to the site..
    well lads been out of sport for good few months as i dislocated my kneecap twice in last 2yrs:rolleyes2:
    got discharged from physio recently so im back doing a bit of training myself but am considering the following and hoping some of ye are involved in them and could give me some advice..
    join a gym and buy a racer style bike..(not sure which 1 friend of mine owns a bike shop and recommends starting out on a giant, reommended 2 bikes in particular one is E550 & other is E750 only difference is carbon forks, does this sound right??
    can ye plz give me some info,feedback and advice...?

    Hi :) If you use the search feature up top you'll find plenty of good advice in previous threads. Also have a look through the cycling Wiki/FAQs a the top of the page. IMO carbon forks absorb the road buzz and make for a more comfortable ride. That seems a bit of a jump in price for just carbon forks. The drivetrain, etc. may also be of a higher spec...
