    The Daigokan Judo club?.

    Just a little info.

There'll be a little presentation to John Douglas from the members tonight for our apprication of John's dedication to the club & the sport.

John has been instructing/training @ the club since 1959, he's an absolute wealth of information on Judo & a fantastic friend to use all.

I'll post up some photos of it tonight or tomorrow.

    7pm Gary.

But its nothing much, there's an open day at the new hall so there's all sorts of displays from the Karate guys to Judo and Badington etc.

But the lads are making a small presentation to John marking his many years instructing at the club. If your coming down bring a your Gi with you, its not training but Donal was talking about showing some skills off to people visiting the hall.

John's presentation was an oil painting of John in his Judogi with a nice inscription from the member's on the back, and being Judo you had to turn John upside down to read it.

Like I said, John's instructing Judo at the Daigokan since 1959.

You have to respect that kind of dedication.
