Usually not mad on remakes but this one looks as if it could be very good and a good take on the story.

Bloody disgusting. That's what they should name the remake so as it will appeal to a more modern audience. Also, they should replace the private investigator character with a bunch of scared and horny teens and the drifters with a masked villain but they should keep the name drifter because there is huge potential for a marketing campaign involving the bar of the same name.

Seems interesting. Definitely looks to be a different take on the source material, rather than a mere re-hash of the original, so depending on writer and director, it could be excellent.
