I know that it was joked in another thread that anyone who started an 'end of the world thread' should be banned from Afterhours but the idea is becoming more and more welcoming.

They're only testing it at a 1/4 of the speed to see if it works, they won't do a full scale test for another month...

Anti-climax, I say turn it up full whack and go for gold :P

    Only in the christian calandar.

It can be any date you like if you choose a different calandar, for example it's the year 409 if you base your calandar on Oliver Cromwell's birth!

Nobody even mentioned that infernal contraption. You know there were nutty doomsday predictions long before the Large H***** Collider was even a metallic twinkle in several hundred scientists' eyes.

I know my ma doesn't have a vibrator because I haven't been asked to fix it/change the batteries in it. She can't do anything the slightest bit electrical for herself and has an uncanny ability to break electrical items so if she did have a vibrator, I'd know about it by now. :)

Well then it would be more of a dildo than a vibrator now wouldn't it? You should have learned all this in sex education in school really.
