Does anyone know anything about Empire Marketing (in Galway)? I can't find anything to do with them on the internet, and have an interview with them in the next week

It's a bit strange that this marketing crowd don't have a website / a good way of Marketing themselves!. Couldn't find anything on them either except plenty of job postings...

Perhaps in the interview you could suggest a website....

i had an interview before with a company in galway which is probably like this.... maybe not but, what hapened me was...went to the place did an interview, got called back- was taken out on a trial basis.
what i didnt know was- it was sellig products door to door from 9am-5pm, and working on commission. and it was next to near impossible to sell anything, oz everyone is at work or poor!!
they told me then, i got the job
    me: oh great,see you tomorrow.

    AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Like the poster above said, door to door sales run by chancers who would sell their granny for a quick buck... They have changed their names many times - Empire, Roar etc..

We have them coming into our office every now and again selling crap - disney clocks, cutlery, watches etc...

Its not marketing, its whooly commission based and you have to make your own way to 'areas' - one friend spent a day in a tough estate in Longford town selling winnie the pooh clocks

    AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
