Mini DV to PC

    I have a Mini DV Camcorder with a DV output port. Unfortunately my laptop doesn’t have a firewire port. It has a slot for an Expresscard and I have seen these on eBay with firewire connections. Do these work? Can anyone recommend an Expresscard with a firewire connection that I could get either online or bricks and mortar?? Any info would be great.
