Hey, I've post in the past about my barber at the central bank called urban stuy. It's a great mens barbers though not in the traditional sense of a barber, more like mens stylist. I'd recommend them if you want to change your style or get something closer to the idea you have. Print off some photos of people with the style you want and bring it in with you to the barbers.

Also, sounds like you should use a matt effect hair styling product to get the dry look you want but with great hold. American Crew products are very popular, something like american crew fibre or putty. You can only buy these in barbers though, so you wont find them in boots, but there are many similar products available. I like Fish products available in Boots, like moulding wax. It keeps my hair a little dark like the wet look but also very natural looking. It's great hold too!

    Good luck with the wedding!

    !

I think you are mixing up the name of the barbers. It is Bedford Stuy. The guy who runs it used to work in the Merchant Barbers.

Im from Drogheda and if you are looking for somewhere funky, definitely try Bubblegum hair salon on patricks lane Drogheda. It's unisex and very edgy with great great stylists.

And in relation to hair products, i've spent years trialing through various gels, putties and wax's trying to find the best ones..

I find hair mania and bedhead to be the best products and both can be bought from bubblegum ;)
