so before the world ends on Wednesday I'd like to know irish girls secret to perfect hair.
I've been here quite some time but unfortunately haven't found a way to keep my hair nice, smooth and flat in that weather(considered for a while getting them greasy but it's not an appealing thought). Small wind is enough to make a mess on my head. But whenever I look around I see you, with perfectly styled hair, apparently oblivious to the weather around. I think I tried everything: gels, hairsprays, silk conditioners - you name it.
    So whats your secret?

    Avoid the outdoors :p
I suppose if the elements are your biggest problem.Invest in a good coat with a proper hood? Not saying my hair is perfect, far from it, but the hood helps lots.

I don't use any product in it anymore, it just made my hair go really greasy. If I'm desperate, tres semme hair spray, holds my fringe in place and smells lovely. :D

Always carry a brush in your handbag and fix your hair as needed.

Also, I've noticed my long hair doesn't get as messed up in the wind if I pin down some of the top strands.

(I'm not quite perfectly styled though; I prefer a slight bit of disorder over the Barbie look :))

Wish I could give you advice, but thankfully i got Daddys genes when it came to hair so Its perfectly straight and always behaves itself!!

Perhaps you could try a different shampoo??

A Good hairdryer can work wonders also, peter mark sell excellent ones, eti is the brand i think!!

Always carry a hairbrush to brush out those wind swept locks, invest in a top class hairdryer (like a parlux), invest in a good quality hairbrush for blowdrying and use a good leave in conditioner or a defrizz blowdry spray!

em i usually go with my natural curls especially in wet, misty, windy Irish weather that way if it gets a bit tossled it isn't as noticable...other than that a good umbrella or if all else fails put your coat over your head..you may look like a complete fool but at least you will have the hair of a goddess. As for products ive searched and searched to no avail but my lil secret is a few clips to tame any unruly strands. hope this helps :)
