anyone else having any problems in Dublin all of the music channels say I know longer subscribe. Have two DVR's from ntl in the house they are working fine, its the pace (smaller version) digibox that is having the problems. I manually restarted and then detached power for a few minutes still no sign of them coming back, any thoughts much appresciated

Looks more and more that it's the old Pace box that's suffering most from this mess up. Also postal areas 8 & 12 so far.

I'd say you'll start to see a replacement of the older NTL and Chorus branded boxes over the next while.

It must be fairly difficult to support both NTL and Chorus' legacy systems as well as the new boxes.

Hi Symantic, They were updating something on Thursday and knocked off the channels. There was a voice message up on their phones until yesterday that logged calls automatically and rebooted your box - they said it would take up to 24 hours. The message isn't playing today but they never rebooted my digibox as promised. If I hear more I'll update

I had the same problem. Eventually called UPC and got through. They sent a signal to my box and all worked fine after that. I had already rebooted the box a number of time previous.

I had something similar a while ago.

UPC advised me to switch off the Pace box at the mains, and remove the card. Restart the box after about a minute and wait for the "please insert card" prompt, pop in the card and all should be fine. - it might be no harm to clean the card with a dry, non abrasive, cloth first.
