Still on my quest to get fitter and lose weight, I ruled out outdoor activities for meteorological reasons. As I explained in an earlier thread the gym is not an option for financial reasons, so I went down the fitness dvd way and found a box set of Tae Bo routines, I'd vaguely heard about it. I'd like to know if someone out there has tried it and got any results.

I would get this set http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=30001&partNumber=3008250

or just start doing bodyweight resistance training, www.simplefit.org you could get a chinup bar in argos too.

I saw those tae bo videos on late night TV, looked OK, sort of cardio for blokes who would feel to girly doing normal stuff! sort of like pepsi max, because macho men do not "diet"

    have a preview here

where are you based? We have a fitness Kickboxing class in Glasnevin/Cabra area which may suit your needs. The one thing with home dvd training is that it lacks a motivational input, something thats prevelant in a group/team working environment. :)

anything that gets up a sweat and you stick to will 'get results'

There are tons of people that have gotten results from tae bo, spinning, kickboxing classes etc just get up and move more. That and diet obviously
