    Hi,
I am trying to take a couple of landscape shots and I want to focus on something in the top right and everything else out of focus.

I don't know how to do this though as the auto focus box is right in the middle on the view finder. Can you move it around somehow or what?

    Thanks.

There are several was to do this depending on the camera type you have, but the most common and is available on most cameras is the following:

1)Aim your camera at the object you want
2)Press your shutter button half way. This usually locks the focus.
3)Keeping the button half pressed, (and the focus locked), re-adjust your view to the one you want and then fully depress the shutter button. Bingo.

Ah yeah good idea. It's a Canon powershot S1 IS btw. (just incase there's any different method for that camera)

    Cheers.
