I reckon that some bunch have been overdosing the atmosphere with rain-making chemicals - again - and it's about time the guilty party owned up. I seem to remember that a few years ago, we were due for a heatwave, until the Chinese wanted more rain. They overdid it and we all got pis5ed on for three months!

I'll throw you a bone to say topical depressions form off the African coastline, travel to East Coast USA, and oftentimes swing all the way up the Atlantic and hit Ireland, thanks to a very large area of High Pressure in the North Atlantic that flows clockwise. In the spirit of the thread, Im sure the Bermuda Triangle is to blame for the formation of this High Pressure System.
