Myself and the OH are planning a trip in October to somewhere sunny for a reasonable price and were thinking of Fuerteventura. Just wondering if anyone that's been there can let me know what there is to do. Any decent sightseeing trips, diving or good photo locations around the island?

There's plenty of diving, surfing or wind surfing if that's your bag. You can also do the whole glass bottom boat trip thing. The two main tourist areas are Costa Caleta (or what used to be called Caleta de Fuste) and Corralejo. Corralejo is the busier more lively of the two and Caleta de Fuste is more your quiet family kind of place.

We're heading back to Corralejo in October for the second time. Fuerteventura is a beautiful island, I would much prefer it to Lanzarote. Lovely beaches with white sand, easy to drive around and fantastic sights to see.
