PS3 - Voice Chat

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with in-game voice chat on the PS3?

I've just gotten soul calibur and its the first PS3 game that both myself and my brother own. We are playing each other online most evenings but neither of us have a headset yet.

Just wondering if there is any point investing in a headset each as I thought I read that the PS3 does not have ingame chat similar to the service provided on xbox live.

    Please confirm or deny!!

Cool, can you recommend a decent bluetooth headset, not too expensive (given it will be rarely used!)

I'd consider an oldschool usb headset.

Keeping bluetooth headsets charged is a pain, pick one that can be charged by usb, and try find a usb wire that can reach you from the ps3 so you can use it while charging.

Bluetooth headsets dont come with very long charger wires, so its a pain to use them while they charge.

other than that, they work fine and dandy...
