    Donnacha Costello

There can be no question that Donnacha Costello is in electronic music for the long haul.
Since his debut way back in in 1996, he has been forging groovy, stripped back and highly refined releases which have consistently been in the playlists of techno's biggest Djs. To date, his music has appeared on the cds of Josh Wink, Ricardo Villalobos, Tiefschwarz, Luciano, Magda and several other names you know only too well.

He first came to international attention with albums on the legendary Force Inc and Mille Plateaux labels in 2000 and 2001 but it was the release of his Colorseries on his own Minimise label in 2004 which brought him wider recognition and placed him firmly at the top of his field. This success was solidified in 2005 with the hit 'Ok, That's Great, Start Over' and 2006 saw him release his now infamous 6x6=36 project. 2007 brought another hit with 'Black Bag Job' and now in 2008 Costello is working on some special releases which might just be his biggest yet.
Known for his love of classic studio equipment, Costello combines the spontaneity and strong character of his older machines with the finesse of his cutting edge Pro Tools HD system to achieve a hybrid sound that transcends arguments concerning old school versus new school. Such concerns have become irrelevant to him as he pushes forward with the self confidence that 12 years of releasing records and performing all over the globe have brought him.

On warm up dutie for Donnacha is Cian Frawley who runs and promotes Strutt. Strutt is a monthly club night that runs in Dolans Warehouse in Limerick City Were it's all about electronic, Minimal, House and Techno music. They throw the biggest parties with the best guests and Strutt residents.Parties with guests such as Joey Beltram, Slam, Dave Angel, Green Velvet, DJ Bone, Trevor Rockcliffe and Inland knights.Opening set goes to Niall Power resident with Resiatance and Electric Circus.
