I was talking to a few people this morning, mainly from other counties, and the general feeling among them was that they were entertained last nite by the show from the new Opera house. Any thoughts/ideas/comments.......

I only saw parts of it, but I enjoyed it.

I thought at the start they were trying to put anybody they could on stage...between Sean Flood and Larry!! and I think the camogie team were there as well.

The Theatre Royal looked fab and I can't wait to see inside it!!!

Thought it was good myslef, the audience interaction was good, and the fact that i knew a good few of them, or reconized them! The dancing at the start was class!

Didn't see it myself but heard a few people in work say that Larry O made an idiot of himself playing air guitar with a hurl.

It was alright... all the usual suspects were there!
Pity the one that built the field of dreams at Ferrycarrig wasn't there.
He's done alot out of his own pocket..... bags of vision!

Been out of Wexford for a few years, so can you fill me in what the ' field of dreams at Ferrycarrig' is?

The Late late Show, was very good. There were lots of Wexford people interviewed and in the audiance that are involved in Opera, GAA, Literature and Film. It was a good show.

I just felt that Mick Wallace is very well known in soccer circles, in the county. He had dedicated a lot of his spare time to it.
He put alot of his own money and energy into the new Wexford Youths soccer stadium in Ferrycarrig. It is a major achievement.

IMO He should has been on the show, to give a balanced representation of the achievements of all people in this county.

The team is young but has achieved a lot lately. Well done to all concerned.
