Bad Signal query?

    Hi recently here in athlone chorus ntl have done a cable upgrade for this new digital service they are doing. having the normal terestiall(forgive spelling) i am getting a really bad signal, i have rang chorus over this matter and they said that they will send out a signal boost to my area but to no avail...all was good till they changed a small box outside the house..now i can hardly see anything.Having sky i dont want chorus digital.my question is will i need to buy a booster to get a better signal?

    Don't waste your money on a booster. It won't help you. You need to get someone out to check the signal and connections at the new tap.

    A booster won't fix it.

    There is a fault somewhere.
    they will send out a signal boost to my area
    You are on a shared cable. They won't change the level unless the entire street has a problem.
