    It could be an airlock, your cylinder is just a container of water attached to your hot taps when you open the tap it pulls water out of the cylinder, this is replenished by the tank in the loft, if there is a airlock between either tank and cylinder or cylinder and tap it can slow down or stop the flow of water, what has helped me in the past was to hold my hand over the end of a mixing tap and back fill mains water, Gary.

    I did what i was advised (to clear the airlock) but no luck


    Rang the plumber few days ago, didnt show up today and didnt even bother to answer his phone.

    Anyone know a good RELIABLE one?

    Im in Stamullen (Meath).
