I need a pair of comfy & cute flat shoes for everyday wear. I'm thinking smart-casual, that I could wear with jeans or trousers, and they need to be comfy as I walk a fair bit during my work most days. I'm drawn to the the active air range in clarks because of this, but some of their styles are a bit fuddy-duddy (my mothers phrase, and if she thinks they're old fashioned...).

I will spend 80 euro max, and just want something functional yet pretty - is it possible?

Camper do nice flats and they functional too, they'll hold up in the rain!

Schuh and probably a number of other stores are selling hush puppies in various different styles - they looked pretty comfortable

I work in Clarks so yeah, bit of a plug, but we're getting tons (30+ styles) in at the moment for the autumn/winter, lots of smart-casual, pretty in line with everything I've seen in In Style and random mags, buckles/patent/lots of straps/berry colours etc. All the promotional stuff we've gotten is emphasising the modern new face of active air/"premium" collection. And I'll also agree with the comfort, I wear a pair of 3 inch active air heels all day at work and they're as comfy as my converse. :) Plus over. :p

That sounds great! So which clarks store do you think will carry the biggest range? I always just went to the little one on O'Connell st
