So i finally set up my Flickr.....

and am just popping this up to warn folk that over the next few days i'll be adding as many folk from here to my contacts as i can.

So if you get a contact from Altogether-Aido on there, that would be myself.

It's an easy way for me to keep up with all your work, and i'll be going through streams one person at a time and commenting where i can.

I'm on the other side, still undecided whether i should join Pixie.ie or not! Seems a significant number of members around here.

Cheers! I was using Deviantart primarily but to be honest i find Flickr a joy to use and will use that for the majority of the my stuff.

I can see my DA account being used solely for my Horror/Fetish work as uploading can be tedious but it is a great place to house that style of work for C&C.

I'm going to get my Flickr established and then check out pix.ie , a mate recently signed up and seems to really like it.

Thats okay Sinead, i'm a slow mover with this so the 340 pics you have on FLickr will keep me occupied until i get pix.ie up and running.

I wanted to convey my amazement at people posting announcing that they have "added" someone on flickr, surely he person whom they have added will find out as soon as they log into flickr!

I suggest you sit down, think about it, and have a go at removing that chip from your shoulder. Noone's forcing you to get involved.

I'd also suggest you have a read of Dragans post about trying to be... 'nice'.

I apperciate he started the thread to tell people he set up a Flickr but is there a need for people to post that they have added him!

There's no problem with it. Is there a need for someone to post whether they think a thread is pointless or not? No.

If you have such a problem with such a thread/post, and you don't think it's being handled correctly, I'd suggest you pop over to either the Feedback forum or Helpdesk. I don't want any further discussion of it here.

some people's flickr names and boards names are different so i would assume that's why people are posting to say they added hiim so he would know who they are?
