It's good craic alright. Went on it last summer.
The guide fella was very good and we all had a laugh.

Can't say it was scary or anything but a couple of the girls got a bit spooked.

Hahaha! I laughed when I saw there's a thing called a 'ghost bus'! :pac: I can't believe they have a goddamn ghost bus! That's hilarious.

Do me a favour. Spell out your words, use grammar and not txtspk, so we can easily comprehend wtf you are on about!

If you mean the ghostbustour, then it's great for a date, quite good otherwise, if a wee bit pricey

    Cute.

You are unaware of the difference between an acronym and use of the word "no" for "know" (as an example), I take it?

Just diffeent brands of laziness and I have no problem with either.

Anyway the Ghostbus is great craic and its a pity more Irish people dont try it out. I no its a tourist thing but always good to check out what we are offering others as entertainment.

We did the ghostbus tour 2 years ago.

I have to say I enjoyed it very much. A gang from this forum ( if memory serves, monkeyfudge,stevenmu,6th,LIB & myself)

The guide was entertaining, though I think he thought we would be very impressed if he welcomed them on board in a scary voice & the guys from here just looked at him blankly...not people you scare easily around here:)

It lasted about 2 hours, I thought it was decent enough value for money & was interesting...though I seem to remember Monkeyfudge knew as much about some of the stories as the guide:rolleyes:

In conclusion, I would recommend it, it doesn't take all night & is a bit of fun... oh best do it now when it starts to get dark earlier, sort of adds to the atmosphere

Hey dont forget to warn the women lb, the guide is a tad fond of the ladies!

don't drink anything for a few hours beforehand, we wouldn't want any accidents

No it's not, it's another level altogether and threatens the structure of the English language. I have some difficulties in this area and I find it difficult enough to spell as it is, without having my head filled with txtspk.

Anyway the ghost bus is great, went on it with my now wife years ago when Smithfield was still Smithfield and it was great. St. Kevins graveyard is about as close to scary as it gets though, it's really an entertainment show IMO.

Oh gosh yeah I forgot that:eek:

The guide we had did get a bit touchy feely, not with me mind you (hmmph) but with some foreign girls. They also turn off all the lights at one point & he throws a bit of water around.. I can't remember why he did that?

    You sure it was water????

Or maybe he only does it if he thinks you are hot!!!

Oh gosh please don't put bad pictures in my head again:eek:

Anyway he didn't come near me- he was more interested in 6th & monkeyfudge, I think he saw them as a challenge or something:P

    How are you doing anyway

I'd probably venture out on that Ghost Bus just to catch sight of the dirty, old man with the water! That would be hilarious. Someone should get a photo of him or something- post it up on here! ;)

I keep meaning to do this. I put it off for the brighter summer evenings though. Which is better, this or Zozimus?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

Well Zozimus doesnt exist any more so I'd say the Ghost Bus wins by default :D

Aw no. I missed that boat too. Well walk, I suppose. Anyone know what happened or if he'll be back?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

I dont think it will be back anytime soon, its been a couple of years I think.

Aww don't tell me Zozimous is gone - the phone number is still listed?

I did that tour about 3 years ago I think...funniest thing ever.

We did it at work, 'Dracula' appeared beside me at the old gate down there by Christchurch -bloody hell did I scream:eek:

Would thoroughly recommend that too. Must try the number & see what happens, would be a great forum night out

Can we please leave correcting how people speak out of this thread now.

Someone will have to establish a 'Correcting The Improper Use Of The English Language On Boards' forum.

Do it for the kids! God bless 'em. :pac:

+1 for the Zozimus tour did it with a gang of reprobates. Great fun altogether, we even met up with the Ghostbus tour coming out of one of the places we went into.

Then off to the pub for other spirits!
