Student shames bike insurer into payment

    Specialist student insurer Endsleigh has finally agreed to pay a Cambridge student’s bike theft claim despite their initial refusal on the grounds that engineering student Rehana Khanam hadn’t left it with saddle and front wheel removed.

    I imagine when it started to make news they would have been faced with losing a lot more business than the £350 this guy's bike was worth.

    What an absurd regulation; I could understand them not covering an unlocked front wheel being stolen but not covering the whole bike because the front wheel was unlocked is ridiculous.
