Who is Anthony Ellis? Did a google there and he seems to be one of those Ohmigod guys. What's his thing?

he put on 30lbs in 12 weeks whilst lowering his bodyfat also, he has the largest private forum on the net with 9000+(which you only have access to after buyinh his book which is $77) it is the mostly widel used program for hardgainers and beginners in bodybuilding that want to build up, he doesn't advertise or endorse and product and just says it how it is, program consists of negative reps, working each muscle group only once per week, so day one would be tricep and chest day, day 2 would be legs and 3 would be back and bicep day

there are 8 sets per excercise(2 warm up,8-6,6-4,4-2,2-1, burnout and superset, increasing the weight with the 4 main sets every time)

    Program Claims:
This program is the most widely used Weight Gain Program in the world! Over 74,000 users in 102 countries can't be wrong!

Just a muppet that wants you to buy a ebook for 77 dollars and it will stick 30lbs of muscle on ye in 12 weeks ye right, i seen the ebook nothing ground breaking in it at all

I don't know who he is. But the person who has influenced me the most in bodybuilding has been Vince Gironda, the Iron Guru!

i would never pay 77 bucks for a book i was lent it by a friend who found great results with the program and was a beginner like myself, if i put on 10-15 pounds of muscle in 3 months i will be incredibly happy and will sing its praise.

did ya get a chance to read the whole book dave ya did?

i'd be interested to know what someone that has deper understanding of bodybuilding like yourself thinks of it and to highlight the negative points if possible also?

got to read most of it and from wat i can remember its a good program and will defo get a beginner on the right path, so nothing wrong with the program per se, charging 77 dollars for it is the problem when you can get simalar programs for nothing on the net for free, but as you said you got it from a friend and i downloaded it wink wink so we both saved $77

    Wanna bet?

Guy get's $77 from every eejit he peddles a bodybuilding regime to. These types of programs were developed by guys using anabolics etc. They aren't for beginners.

Any training program that gets beginners to train to "burnout" on every set is suspect as far as I'm concerned. Dunno anything about him but my BS senses are going crazy.

    not particularly kevpants

as i've stated, the program 'claims' to have those stats, i'm very sceptical myself and don't believe it for a second.

currently upping my compound excercises by 5kg every week(except dips obviously) so it seems to be doing something, we'll see over the next 2 months whether he's full of **** or completely full of **** sure kev;)

So you're doing compound exercises and increasing your weight by 5kg every week, and you're seeing results! Alert the media! :D This man is very, very clever to be able to sell people a book for 80 bills on something they could have got for free from the web. He is my hero.

I doubt there are that many people doing his thing but god damn that's easy money!

The ONLY way this could have happened is that he had being training before, starved himself and lost it all in preparation for his "transformation". So was it "new" muscle?? No bloody way.

As an aside, the chap's 75kg with 14 inch guns and looks about 6 foot tall. He's hardly some mass monster who's gonna take over the world with his ginormus girth!

Totally agree with kevpants - beginners need a solid base of 6months training before they throw all the intensity variables into the mix.

He was the original poster boy for EAS when they first launched the body for life program - one of the 12 winners (though i can't vouch for the use of anabolics).

Fair play to him though as he got out there selling a well marketed product

Lol he said 74 000 people in 102 countries cant be wrong.

Haha, like Homer Simpson said: smoking can't be bad for you, 20 million people can't all be wrong. :pac:

Love that "review". All it's missing is, BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!, at the end.

Seriously though if he really added that much muscle with no fat in that short time... why'd he stop there? Surely after 6 months he'd be Mr Universe? Drug free!!

firstly cheers g'em for merging the 2 threads;)

i hear ya with the 'review' its very second hand car salesman technique:)

his 'alleged' reason for not being able to put on mass that would or could make him compete for mr universe is that he had met his genentic potential reaching his goal!

I just bet he had a team of scientists assessing his genetic potential too. I'm with Hanley.

I didn't see that but holy fcuking LOL!!! That's amazing. He's hit his genetic peak with 14 inch guns?? And people are going to this guy for advice?? That's just painful.

I used to work in tailoring and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that the review dude has a 33 inch chest in the first picture to begin with, whatever about adding 7 inches to that in 3 months. Secondly, it can hardly be simply his program adding the size, is there nuitrition advice included in the book?
