Does anyone know what a good price would be to get a (roughly) 2 acre field cut down? It is very overgrown with rushes and some briars etc. so not good enough for somebody to take away to use as silage as payment unfortunatly!

the best thing to do is call to your nearest farmer and ask him about

some guys are very willing to help and might to it themselves
if the field is very overgrown and the stuff is very hard get a tractor mounted hedgecutter to do it

again the local farmer will know who to send you to and don't be afraid to ask how much it will cost

what part of the country are you in and what are you going doing with the 2 acres?
