Elisha Cuthbert will reprise her role as Jack Bauer's daughter for the next season of 24, according to reports.

Entertainment Weekly states that Cuthbert has signed a contract to play Kimberley Bauer for the final episodes of the show's seventh season, which will begin in January.

Michael Ausiello claims in his column that the character is no longer romantically involved with Barry Landes (C. Thomas Howell), her partner during the fifth season. However, she will return bearing a small child.

Cuthbert was a series regular during the first three seasons of 24 and returned for a brief stint during the fifth season. Outside the real-time show, she has starred in movies including The Girl Next Door and Captivity.
