    Folks,

Another question on my mind and I suppose it comes down to personal opinion is the thermostatic shower valves. I know there are two types, surface mounted and recessed, what are the advantages or disadvantages of using either one.

Anyone care to come down on one side of the fence and make a recommendation ?

    P.

visit showrooms - pick based on aestethics

recessed valves are built in at first fix - so risk of damage before second fix , where chippies plasterers etc works around the valve . Pain in the swiss if you have to replace later . BUT don't wan't to exaggerate the risk - it happened to me once in 13 years .
