I'm looking for a pair of nice, flat knee-high (or close to) boots for the winter, to wear with short skirts, but I can't find any nice ones yet. Has anyone seen any around? My friend swears she read in In Style that they're coming into fashion this season, has anyone else read this?

I don't wear Uggs though! Something like this, maybe, in a lighter colour? 1508106120_exlg.jpg

Not sure what kind of footwear is in the southern stores of New Look but I've gotten flat pairs of boots in the Northern stores. I've also gotten flat boots in Korky's. There's nothing like finding a good pair of FLAT boots, most boots have heels!

I got a riding boot style pair in Buffalo. They're very plain and come in black and brown. So comfortable.

Ehh the Buffalo shop is still in town, it's on Wicklow street. I'll second what another poster said here, Buffalo have a great pair in stock, very cool looking and available in black and brown.

I saw the on schuh.co.uk . I haven't actually bought them so I'm not sure if they're in shops.

I don't think they have Buffalo in Edinburgh :(. Gonna go look in Office later and hope for the best.

It's on the right hand side as you come off of George's street. It's a blue fronted building.
