ODD-JOB how do you propose to handle the scoring for this one seeing as the race result as it stands is under appeal? Best to wait for the outcome of that??

True, but if there was a disqualification it would be in the new official classification. Then again it was a penalty that should've been applied during the race. Stupid FIA :P

My understanding of that is that the classification at the end of the race stands, i.e. subsequent disqualifications, penalties etc don't count.

PS I voted for Raikonnen so I reckon I'm looking at this fairly impartially

Well ,..... my intention was to award the points according to the order of how they crossed the finish line , with any post-race adjustments taking no effect on the comp !!!!
I know i worded it badly , and sorry for that, but it gets complicated then with appeals etc. too!!!!

Im going to award points for Hamilton victory ! (Sorry!)

You've been doing all the work running this comp, so you should have the only say in how the points are awarded. I just wasn't sure how you'd interpret your own guidelines, and so was curious.

Don't wonder - check the poll. And I for one am not complaining.

I'll gladly admit I voted for Massa, but I cheer for Hamilton every race, so am disappointed by the penalty he received. Lighten up people, it's just a bit of craic.
